EXCALIBUR HELP

What is Excalibur?

Excalibur is an online subscription service for digital content platforms. If you recently subscribed to one of the content platforms we manage, your credit card statement will show an Excalibur charge.

What types of subscriptions you can purchase through Excalibur?

Every digital content platform we work with offers their unique subscription package. Many of these content platforms may offer a print edition to local subscribers as well as online subscriptions, for articles you read online. Content platforms such as publications, may also offer an e-Edition (a PDF replica version of the paper), an app based reader or a mobile versions of the newspaper.

While Excalibur always will handle the full web version of the paper, our service and solution offerings are constantly expanding. Some publications may manage their own e-Editions, app based readers and/or mobile versions. Please check your records (confirmation emails, billing, etc.) if you have purchased or have subscribed to these versions of the paper through Excalibur. If you subscribed to any of these services through the newspaper, app market places, or another service provider, Excalibur may not be able to answer your billing questions or make changes to your account.

Creating a Excalibur Account

If you have not previously used Excalibur to access your content, you will be prompted to create an account in order to subscribe to these content platforms. To create an Excalibur account follow these steps

  1. When you see the Excalibur prompt (a box that appears on your screen while browsing on the website) click the “Next” button to sign up.
  2. Select from the list of subscription products available on the following page and click “Next.”
  3. Fill out the required information on the account information page to create your Excalibur account and click “Next.”
  4. If you selected a subscription that requires payment please fill out the name credit card number expiration date and billing zip code of the credit card you are using to complete your purchase. Then click “Next.”
  5. You will see a printable confirmation screen detailing your purchase and a confirmation notice will be sent to you via e-mail.
  6. Click the “Close” button to continue reading.

Why Am I Being Asked To Sign Into My Excalibur Account Again?

You will be asked to sign in again if you have changed computers or internet browsers.

Can I Log In On Multiple Devices?

With Excalibur you can log in on your desktop, laptop, iPad and other devices. Remember when accessing online content on a new device you may be asked to log in again with the email address and password you created when you initially subscribed.

Resetting Your Password

To reset your password follow these steps

  1. Press the forgot password link at the bottom here: Customer DashBoard.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Excalibur account.
  3. A temporary password will be emailed to you. If you don’t receive an email within a few minutes please check your spam folder.

Changing Your Password

To change your password follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your Excalibur account with the email address and Excalibur password here: Customer DashBoard.
  2. The screen you see here serves as a dashboard from which you can edit your account information. To change your password click on “Edit”.
  3. Press Edit from the password row and enter you current password then the new password you would like to use.  Press “Submit” to save the change.

Updating Your Email Address

To update the email address associated with your Excalibur account follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your Excalibur account with the email address and Excalibur password here: Customer DashBoard.
  2. Click on Personal Profile. The screen you see here serves as a dashboard from which you can edit your account information. To change your email address select “Account Settings.”
  3. Click “Edit” and enter the new email address.
  4. Click “Submit”.

PAYMENT INFORMATION/BILLING

Updating Your Payment Method

To update your payment information follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your Excalibur account with your email address and Excalibur password here : Customer DashBoard.
  2. Click on Personal Profile. The screen you see here serves as a dashboard from which you can edit your account information. To change your payment or billing information select “Update Payment Information”.
  3. Confirm that the name and billing zip code associated with your credit/debit card are correct
  4. If you need to replace the credit card on file enter the new card number and expiration date.
  5. Click “Submit”.

Why is “Excalibur” Listed on My Credit Card Statement?

Excalibur is an online subscription service for content platforms. If you recently subscribed to an online news website or your subscription has renewed your statement will show an Excalibur charge.

SUBSCRIPTION MODIFICATION

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel an online subscription through Excalibur follow these steps

  1. Sign in to your Excalibur account with your email address and Excalibur password here Customer DashBoard.
  2. The screen you see serves as a portal from which you can edit your account information. To cancel a subscription select “Modify Subscriptions.”
  3. Select the “Cancel” link on the right side of the screen. This action will set your subscription to cancel at the end of the current billing cycle.

PRINT SUBSCRIPTIONS

Why Have I Been Asked to Verify or Update My Print Subscription Address?

Some content platforms and publications offer discounts for purchasing a combined print and online subscription. In order to grant customers discounted online access, it is necessary to confirm that you are an active print subscriber. We do this by matching the home delivery information submitted to us when you subscribe online with the home delivery information your content platform has on file. If you have received a notification from Excalibur concerning any trouble in this matching process, please verify or update your print subscription information.

  1. Sign in to your Excalibur account with your email address and Excalibur password.
  2. Navigate to personal profile section where you can edit your account information.
  3. To update your print subscription information select “Update Print Address”.
  4. Select “Edit” to update the address and phone number where you receive your publication.
  5. Click “Submit”.
